In November, Jeff and Jon will be presenting their ideas on responding effectively to student behavior and on working in collaboration with parents. They will be appearing in Columbus, Ohio, at the Independent School Association of Central States (ISACS) Convention.They will be acting out situations common to most educators.

Jeff and Jon's current blog entry is Responding to Student Behavior: Using Minimal Interventions.They describe how teachers are losing over 50% of their teaching day responding to time wasting behavior. They explain how minimal interventions can be used as a part of their four level system designed to regain this lost teaching by responding to time wasting behaviors more effectively thereby avoiding confrontations and the escalations of power struggles.
